Looks pretty interesting as they are proposing a web standard https://iot.mozilla.org/wot/
Based on https://hacks.mozilla.org/2018/02/how-to-build-your-own-private-smart-home-with-a-raspberry-pi-and-mozillas-things-gateway/ this looks pretty cool! It seems to be focused on the home autmation use case but it has a lot of the things we are looking for. Simple network setup, GUI setup, rules engine.
OMG Chris, can you please just figure this stuff out for me so I don’t have to. IoT land is chock full of stuff and it’s way more than a person can handle. I really really hope you come to GOAT with the a Support Tech Support GOAT edition presentation (a la Reply All podcast).
