Hello. As of August 26, it is further being promoted in social media postings ( https://bit.ly/3AJ47rQ ) that GOAT is still accepting applications on a rolling basis, which I also boosted on social myself ( https://bit.ly/3q0icfq ).
However, I wonder if all applications received so far - including travel grant requests - have already been evaluated by the GOAT core team and if these applicants have already been informed with acceptance or rejection? (e.g. I know someone who submitted on August 5 and has not heard anything from GOAT since then.)
When at the latest are acceptances and rejections sent to applicants, so that someone who has been accepted can still make travel arrangements?

All submissions to date have been reviewed with acceptance notifications sent out! The first acceptances were sent out on August 18. We have since been reviewing applications on a rolling basis and sending out notifications as they are reviewed (~1 day).
We sent another email out recently since some applicants reported that our emails went to spam - so as a general message to all… if you’re already applied, please check your spam! If you haven’t heard from us, please reach out either here or via the goatech.org@gmail.com and we’ll followup.
