Hey all, just drafting the monthly call topic for tomorrow, but unfortunately I can’t make it this month.

I think I brought this up on the call last month - but I’m curious if we should consider moving the call time? The hours 8am-12pm PT seem to be some of the busiest for many people in our community, often having other “work” calls overlapping at this time. I have a hunch this could be why there has been lower attendance lately. I’d like to suggest we move to some time later in the day. Curious what others think!

I dropped the ball on the reschedule - here is a poll for the next community call, and we’ll use the new date/time for all following months.

    - Hackathons could be a great way to get funding partnerships

Hackathons: we wonder if this is really in scope as a viable event in the next year or so given effort torwards GOAT 2024 inperson event. For discussion by stewardship group.

From 11th Hour Doc:

Hackathons to lend our development expertise to value-aligned organizations including: Bionutrient Food Association to develop accessible, data driven, location specific tools; USDA Agricultural Research Service to develop open access to data and tools resulting from public agricultural research; and The Organic Center to develop equitable, open source technical infrastructure for organic agricultural practices.

Defining Terms: Identify time commitments as leads -
how much bandwidth do these roles take? How long will a person need to be in the role? How long can a person keep the role - when do we force a person to move on to a new role.

Define Protocols:
SOPs, that way it becomes easier for another person to jump into that space.
