Happy to see this article by CivilEats - they included LiteFarm as an example - yeah! A Hidden Crop for Corporate Tech: Farm Data | Civil Eats Curious to hear if there is overall agreement by this community? Anything that was missed?

Hi Elizabeth,
Some of us went to the round table for this article and there was a surprisingly warm, if not some what hesitant welcome to AI adoption there. I have personal opinions about the risks in quality of work, some kinds more than others, but I also see opportunity. Our Sci wrote this Linked In post in response to that article and the Ag in AI group that Greg hosts biweekly.

TLDR: AI enables non-programmers contribute to the open source digital tools they want to use but haven’t yet adopted because some feature is missing. Tools like farmOS have always been free in principle because anyone can fork the code. The barrier was knowing how to code. With Claude Code, a market manager or farmer can install a development environment and fix a bug without a Computer Science degree.
