European soil surveys, possible comparisons / overlapping methods

@mdc shared this, and it’s quite a lot of information but could really help inform the types of methods we should be running. While it is obvious they are going for the kitchen sink while we’re trying to be more targeted and keep costs low, we may be able to identify overlapping methods that we could then overlay when it comes to the analysis.

@kanedan29 @snapp what do you think? Have you seen or used this data before? I’m hoping this is the sort of thing we can dig into once we really get going (and get more participation in the working groups) with our survey.

Haven’t seen or used this before, but it looks cool. Comparable to other soil data collection efforts in the states and elsewhere. Could be a useful data source for tuning models in a European context.
