I’d like to gauge peoples’ interest in participating in a Farm Hack Community Call, to discuss possibilities and ideas for the future of Farm Hack. I know some people not on the forums that would be interested. Is there anyone here that would want to join?
Is that something we could use the GOAT Gathering room for, if it happens? I’m happy to figure out an alternative if that’s better.
I would be interested in a call, but timing can be an issue. My experience is that these things tend to “fall over” unless there’s a goodly amount of new blood coming in. What has worked for us in the past (for instance, in monthly meetings), is a “keynote speaker” followed by discussion and show-and-tells. Also, a “solve a problem” session is always good for these things (and software problems are easy, hardware not as easy to describe).
