GOAT 2024 Feedback Survey

Hi folks,

Thank you so much for joining us last week at the beautiful Paicines Ranch. We had such a wonderful week and are grateful for each of your contributions which made GOAT 2024 a success.

Feedback: We have received bits of feedback from many of you and would REALLY appreciate it if you all would take some time to complete our feedback form or otherwise provide input on your experience at GOAT 2024.

• Provide anonymous post-event feedback via webform. (preferred, Nov 29th Deadline)
• Public feedback (here in this thread)
• Semi-private feedback to all organizers (goatech.org@gmail.com)
• Private / direct individual feedback to Greg & Ankita (gbathree at geemail dot com; ankita at purdue dot edu)

This will help guide planning for GOAT 2026, help us reflect on GOAT 2024, and will give us a sense for how you all want to engage moving forward.

Maybe this belongs in a meta thread (and I know it’s probably too late to change it), but the number scales for some of the questions are a bit unintuitive (backward) for me;

i.e. I find it more intuitive when “Not really” corresponds to “less understanding” (smaller number) and “Yes, totally!” corresponds to “more understanding” (bigger number).
