GOATS at ASABE conference @ Indianapolis, Indiana (July 12-15, 2026)

Hi folks, @jlp2duke reached out to see if we wanted to co-sponsor the booth with NAPDC and ADC. It would be $500 but doesn’t include registration or attendance.

I think ASABE is a reasonable fit for GOAT (and many of our members projects/interests), and if someone attended we could find some more GOATs or potentially generate useful interest.

@sudokita you have discussed potentially making this connection, and it’s pretty close to you in IN. Maybe others are interested. In short, the ask is:

  1. $500 - Does anyone want to support this booth (some or all?) OR does GOAT itself want to support it?
  2. Attendance - Does anyone want to attend the conference and be at the booth?

As you might be aware, the NAPDC has been accepted to host a Technical Session at the ASABE AIM 2026 Conference scheduled for July 12-15 , 2026, in Indianapolis IN. We are planning to reserve a booth at the ASABE AIM 2026 Conference to increase visibility and engagement for our work. The $1500 “Essential Scholarship Package” comes with 1 conference registration, logos on all general marketing materials and exhibit hall tabletop space. Please see here for more details.

I’ll be at ASABE and am happy to help cover the GOAT booth with both attendance and support.

I’ve created a generic GOAT conference booth project on OC, so GOAT can contribute to it. In the coming weeks and months we want to create a formalized annual budget. I think it would be great to add ASABE to the list.
