Online tool show and tell - contributors wanted

Hi guys,

The Landworkers’ Alliance are putting a session together for the excellent Oxford Real Farming Conference (www.orfc.org.uk) in January and we need people to contribute. Do you have a tool you’ve developed that you would be up for introducing and speaking about?

Please get in touch soon - we need to finalise the session by the end of the month.

Any questions, let me know!

Hack power!

Hi Chris!

We’ve been working on various open hardware tools for small farms – our focus is very much on ‘technological sovereignty’ – approaches to tool design that give farmers greater control and autonomy with respect to their infrastructure (e.g. monitoring greenhouse temp, peer-to-peer data storage, low-power local radio comm). If it’s not too late, I’d love to demo some specific designs at the Oxford Real Farming Conference, and also solicit feedback on the philosophy / critique we’ve been developing in this area.

Cheers, and thanks!
Don
