More options forthcoming for how GOATs can engage these channels!

Did anyone copy the Chat - someone (@julietnpn ?) ended the meeting suddenly, and the annoying thing about Zoom is that the chat goes away immediately so I was unable to copy the links.

  • Developed a work plan 1 year ago
  • did Innovation Accounting process to develop business plans
  • Set up consistent group structure to support collaboration amongst members
  • intentionally working with a small, specific cohort

Participants were Litefarm, Our-Sci, OpenFoodNetwork Canada, and a few others, like Entidad

Document of outputs - CoO mission, principles, success definitions (@gbathree link to these here!!)

Created a Memorandum of Understanding - worked well, could be useful piece to replicate

Biggest value was from having a small, high-trust group to approach opportunities together

Final report-out coming in next month or 2!

FLOAT project using Hylo for organization

  • Overview of float - Float.ag
  • Hylo were close partners for feature design, especially as FLOAT was the first group to use funding allocation functions created by Hylo
  • This was impactful - aligned goals, purpose-driven community focus

Major learnings -

  • Hylo supported this community, but didn’t create it
  • Thoughtful organizing of Hylo space benefits participants & takes time & effort
  • Lots of back-end work needed for voting process, from participants and facilitators
  • Value alignment was crucial!

Hi Mitra, I sent you a direct message on this platform with a copy of the chat. Don’t want to post it publicly in case some folks don’t want the small talk out there for all to see!
